Dhoublet had colicked mildly maybe 20 times over a period of 4 months. We were always able to resolve it at home, or with veterinary intervention. He finally had a prolonged episode of impaction colic with a displaced cecum, that resulted in euthanasia after a 5 day vet clinic stay. His cecum wasn't functioning properly, and there was no choice.....

After spending the summer of 2022 losing his LF shoe so many times, he had nothing to nail one to, we let him go barefoot finally. Now back in regular training- new video at first level at a schooling show, dressed in Halloween themed tack: Dhoublet went to his first recognized dressage show at Bucks County Horse Park on May 8, 2021. He got 83.6% in the USEF 4 year old test and won training level test 2 with a 73.448%- high score training level and high score of the show!

This sweet gelding is royally bred and even though he has only been under a short time, he shows three super gaits and a very good, volunteer attitude. First under saddle video 30 days after returning from the breaker.
