This pedigree is made for the dressage ring. Dante Weltino is a rising Grand Prix star in Germany and EM Rheporter was Grand Champion at Dressage at Devon in 2011 and reserve champion young horse in 2009. She is a stallion mother (Shavane) and her daughter Shcooter was reserve champion Filly and Champion Young Horse at 2015 Dressage at Devon. Dhubonnet is a real long legged beauty. Movement is amazing- one of the best movers I have ever bred.
Unfortunately, this lovely filly was found dead in the pasture. She was the picture of health and then she was gone. Autopsy results revealed a guttural pounch infection that, since it was localized and encapsulated, gave no outward signs of illness. She never had a fever, no nasal discharge, no loss of appetite or condition, no malaise. It was a big surprise and quite a shock. Our sympathies to Heather on the loss of this very special filly....
