Rolling Stone Farm did well at the 2011 Dressage at Devon Breed Show.

Besides EM Rheporter being named Grand Champion, Quinnten Alston was named the top handler at the show. The judges said they wanted to recognize the way he handled the horses by staying with them and leaving them alone. John Amber had the job of running the foals while the mares were being judged and the mares while the foals were being judged. He often looked like he was skiing behind them! Cara Klothe, RSF assistant trainer and I acted as grooms. We also had to enlist the help of friends to help hold horses because we were so successful, we had three mares in the championship classes and two foals in the championship classes- not a bad problem to have! See the article written in The Chronicle of the Horse in the photos. I'll try and get some video up of the classes. Here are results from the show: EM Rheporter: Grand Champion, Mature Horse Champion, Mare Champion 4 year old and older broodmares: 2nd Rheporter, 4th EM Amulet WWF, 5th Fhlora Get of Sire: 3rd Shakespeare RSF 7th Shakespeare RSF group #2 Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse 5 & 6 y.o: 3rd Lhukas (by Loerke out of Fhlora) bred by RSF, ridden and owned by Patricia Care USDF/Great American Insurance Group Mare Championship: 2nd EM Amulet WWF, 3rd Fhlora. Rheporter had won the class but I had not declared her as an entry, so we were excused....duh on my part.... USEF Materiale 4 & 5 yo stallions and geldings: 5th Lhukas Yearling Fillies: 5th Shayanara (by Shakespeare RSF and out of EM Whitney Q) bred by RSF and owned and shown by Ellen Kvinta Palmisano. She was also 8th in the USDF/Great American Insurance Group Filly Championship 14th: Shtarlet (by Shakespeare RSF and out of EM Gharbo) bred by RSF and owned and shown by Ellen Kvinta Palmisano Three Year Old Colts and Geldings: 4th Dhouble Scoop (by Don Principe out of Senorita) bred by RSF and owned and shown by Ellen Kettler. Also 4th in the GOV Individual Breed Class. And last but not least: Somer Hit (by Sandro Hit out of EM Rhussia), bred by RSF, owned by Alice Tarjan, ridden by Lauren Chumley- FEI Young Horse Test for 5 year Olds: 1st with the amazing score of 83.8% Fillies of 2011: 2nd Shilhouette Colts of 2011: 2nd Shavane, 6th Shwatch Foal Championbship: Reserve champion- Shavane USDF/Great American Insurance Group Foal Championship: 4th Shilhouette, 7th Shavane, 10th Shwatch (none of my foals took two trot steps in this class. They were OVER IT about showing by then....)
