Premium foal, good enough to present for stallion licensing
Presented to the GOV as a stallion but it wasn't his best day... Now gelded and being sold as a super riding horse. He is very tall and substantial without being coarse. His movement is very good and so is his rideability!
April 2013: Mario was evaluated by everyone here at RSF and he gets to stay a colt and a stallion prospect due to his really super gaits. He still has the "big ring" look about him, and he will be very tall and substantial. Fall 2012:
Shuper Mario is a shuper mover. He was a little hot and tired the day of the inspection, so watch him in the round pen on a cooler day.
He has an uphill conformation that translates into forward, upward movement that has lift off the ground. He will be tall and a bit more substantial than some of the other foals by Shakespeare. I would buy this one if I had ambitions of riding in the FEI dressage ring. He has the look and the movement.Birth report: This really tall, leggy colt was born within minutes of the birth alarm going off. He was out before we got to the stall. Quinnten had the honor of naming this colt and he picked a good one in tribute to his Shane, a full brother that he had to put down last year due to a pasture accident. Mario has big shoes to fill. Tyra is a great mom and we can't wait to see this one move.
SOLD!Congratulations to Raquel of NJ!
Well, put your money where your mouth is, my mother always used to say, so we actually take our young horses off property to schooling and recognized shows. Here is Shuper Mario at a local schooling show where he did two tests. This is his second time off the property and his second time in a dressage ring. He was the high score of the show with a 73.409% at training level test 3 and was 2nd in training level test 2 with a 69.615%. He was perfect in the warm-up and in the ring and acted like a pro who had tons of show experience.
Shuper Mario had the worst day of his life under saddle, free running and free jumping the day of the GOV stallion licensing. It was a bad day to have a bad day. He was gelded on Nov. 23, 2015. He has never exhibited stallion behavior on the ground or under saddle, so his training under saddle has been steady and he is advancing quickly.
Look how super balanced and good in the bridle he is:April 29, 2016:
