Named a premium foal at our GOV inspection! Now named Verbands Premium at her mare inspection and MPT!

At the Rolling Stone Farm Mare inspection and Mare Performance Test September 10, 2012:
Named Verbands Premium, owned and bred by Mo Swanson
Dhakota- 3 year old mare by Don Principe out of Senorita (KWPN) (Lancet/Pinkus) Tied for 4th place with a 7.31 (8 for walk under saddle and rideability)

At our GOV inspection, Dhakota was named a premium foal by the judges.

Foal report: This is a normal sized filly and a chestnut! I am the only person who can breed a dark brown mare to a black stallion and get chestnut- with a lot of white, to boot! I am convinced there is something in my water...

I took some photos at 1 wk old to show you what a lovely filly she is becoming. Her pasterns have strengthened. Boy, she sure can move, showing a "10" canter.

SOLD! Congrats to Angela of MS!

After doing the GOV Mare Performance Test as a three year old in 2012, and after having a foal in 2014, I decided that this mare should be sold as a riding horse instead of as a broodmare, capitalizing on her wonderful, amateur friendly rideability and disposition. We finally got around to putting her back under saddle in summer of 2015, and she was just as easy to break the second time around. She comes out every day willing to work in an uncomplicated way. Now schooling second level movements.
Latest video:

Here she is in a normal working session in Oct. 2015, just 60 days back under saddle:

 Verband Premium Dhakota  Don Principe/Lancet
A very correct, good sized colt from a very maternal mare having her first foal. He has Grand Prix dressage horses stacked in his pedigree. He will be a performance dressage horse, plus rideability is genetically programmed there too!

SOLD! Congrats to Leslie, Yelli and Siggy!
