Named Special Premium Mare and winner of the Mare Performance Test on September 10, 2011 with a 7.99!

The birth of Thempera makes Ghodiva a Special Premium mare.
Ghodive had only been cantering under saddle for about 3 weeks and had only gone through the free jump chute 3 times. Her green-ness showed in the free jump chute where she mad a few mistakes after initially impressing the judges with her form and scope. They said had she not made mistakes, they could have awarded her a 9. As it is, she received 8's for the jumping, canter under saddle, and rideability from the test rider. She received a 9 (!) for the trot under saddle and 8.5's for free trot and canter. Total score- 7.99! Not bad for a green broke 3 year old! She was named the overall champion, and was high score in free jumping and under saddle. The judges awarded her the title of Special Premium Candidate. She needs to have a foal to get the full title. She was eventually named the high score Oldenburg mare for the nation for 2011! 

Named Premium foal at her GOV foal inspection. She wowed the crowd with her movement. Foal Report: WE ARE DONE! The last foal is an early arriving filly, which is fine with me. She certainly doesn't look like an early foal. She is tall and beautiful, with a very uphill trot and canter. We love the lightening bolt marking on the front of the hock! Birth report: The last foal of the year arrived on the first night that I had put the Birth Alarm and a camera on Minnie. This is a tall filly with a beautiful face. Wahoo! I can sleep!
