Finally under saddle after a persistant hoof abcess that kept him from training all winter while his buddies continued to be broke and trained. It is resolved and he is quite good, albeit still a little green. Videotaped in the middle of winter. Please excuse the dirt and hair.
Inspection comments: Bubba didn't feel like moving much at the GOV inspection. After all, it was 92 degrees and humid, and my foals all had to come out of the paddock. I had given all of my spare stalls to our guests. He is a super mover on a normal day, with a very good walk and an uphill trot and canter. Along with that, he is a real sweetie-pie.
Bubba is a really good mover, of modern type (read- beautiful). His walk is huge and he is very correct in his conformation. His sire Don Frederico needs no introduction. He is a 17.0 hand (172 cm) black Hanoverian stallion born in 1997. He is an elegant stallion by the famous Donnerhall. Don Frederico has outstanding gaits scoring a 9.0 for his walk, 9.33 for his trot and a 9.33 for his canter. He also scored a 9.5 for rideability and 9's for his disposition and willingness to perform. He was Reserve Champion of his Stallion Licensing in 2000, and Champion of the Dressage section. Don Frederico was the top dressage producing stallion in 2006 and 2007 with an index of 161! He is ranked higher than Hohenstein (156), Weltmeyer (156), Caprimond (149), Londonderry (147), and Rotspon (146). Not only is he ranked higher than some very famous dressage producing stallions but he did it in his first year with recorded breeding values and with significantly less offspring than other Hanoverian stallions. As of 2007 he has produced 17 licensed sons and 80 States Premium Mares.
Foaling report: It was a text book foaling, and Reynah is a great mom. All of that white was quite a surprise, since dad is black. Bubba looks like he is a super mover, as well as being really pretty.
SOLD!Congratulations to Debbie Morrison of NJ!
