Shugar Baby is now under saddle and she is now in dressage training with John after Kelly's phenominal breaking. She is tall and leggy with a lot of filling out to do, but her gaits and rideability are really super. This is a good one, folks! She is closely related to Shakespeare and Sir James, and I already have her mother, EM Whispre and her half sister, EM Rheporter, in my broodmare band. This is an opportunity to get the best from my breeding program for your use as a riding horse or broodmare. She will be ready to take the GOV Mare Performance test this summer.

Birth Report: As nature takes one away, it gives us another. The night before the tragic loss of Lhittle Debbie, this absolutely beautiful, tall, correct filly was born. I am really excited about this one! The funny thing is that I had initially thought this foal was a colt that we named Shugar Daddy (hey, it was dark and I am sleep-deprived). Imagine my surprise when I lifted up the tail to give the enema. A quick name change was in order!

Shugar update! We still LOVE her!! This video clip was from Debbie McDonald clinic last oct, just wanted you to see how much she's grown up! Last week she did her first clean change, half passes in canter and trot are coming along nicely too! I love riding her, super comfortable and even better mind!! Thank you again!! Hope all is well with you!! It's been two years ago this month that we came and fell in love with her!! :)
