Named Premium foal at our GOV inspection, now under saddle
Dhocker has IT- that look at me attitude and a presence that makes him just sparkle. He was named Premium at our GOV inspection. Now under saddle and showing three good gaits with a volunteer rideability.
Dhocker's sire Dancier, authoritative winner of his performance test and stallion licensing, was also proclaimed Best Hanoverian Stallion of 2002. This success won him the “Freiherr von Stenglin” award. As a young stallion, Dancier qualified twice for the national Championships in Warendorf and celebrated his first successes in the advanced class at the youthful age of eight. A son of the top class dressage progenitor, De Niro, this noble, attractive black stallion appears on
the way to his own excellence as a sire. Damsire Lancier is by the venerable Laurie's Crusador xx, Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2006, a rare honor for a Thoroughbred stallion.
Dancier was awarded the perfect score of 10 for his trot, 9.5 for his canter and 9.2 for his walk. As a four year old he placed third in the Bundeschampionate. He is noted for his exceptional temperament and good ability to work from behind.
Dancier has also produced 42 States Premium Mares/Candidates, 11 licensed
sons, and has had many offspring in the Hanoverian Elite Auctions. Here is a video of Dancier:
Dhocker's dam, Elite Mare Rhwanda was third in her group at the 2001
Hanoverian Foal Championships in Verden, Germany with a score of 8.8.
This score would have qualified her for the final Ring in any other group,
but she had the misfortune to be in the same group as the overall
champion and reserve champion of the finals. She was bought by me at
the 2001 Hanoverian Elite Mare and Foal Auction in Germany. At her HN
inspection at Rolling Stone Farm in 2004, she received an overall score of
7.0, with 8's on head, neck, foreleg, and typiness and femininity. At the
same time, as a green broke three year old, she successfully completed
the mare performance test with an overall score of 7.44, tying for the high
score mare performance test score of the day. She received a well
deserved score of 8 for rideability and also for both jumping scores.
Foaling report: There is chestnut in my water or something. Once again, I bred a chestnut mare to a black stallion and get chestnut.....This was a dramatic birth, since it was a red bag(placenta previa). We got the foal out quickly and he was fine. Wanda did her usual rolling and thrashing after passing the placenta, and as usual, I stood guard over the foal so she wouldn't kick him. All that happened was Wanda stepped on my toe. The colt was healthy and nursing. Our attentions then turned to Reynah and her foal with not a good outcome....

Dhocker is under saddle, and despite being quite green, since he has only just returned from the breaker, he shows three very good gaits with a super active hind end and good rideability. Here he is just one week after returning from the breaker:
