A tough start
Ghouda was born very quickly, with the placenta following immediately after. I had to pull the umbilical cord to break it. I believe he was oxygen deprived during the birth. Ghouda was a dummy foal who was bottle fed by me for a few days, then he slowly learned how to nurse on his own. He is not very pretty, and he is very quiet. He is a good mover, and now seems to be playing with the other foals like a normal foal would. I will give him away as a project to a very good home. Someone can have a quiet riding horse who will not be a beauty, but who will be easy to have around. I think he will mature fine, despite his rough start to life, and he may mature into a superstar. It MUST be a good home, with a written promise to not turn him over for profit. 4-h'ers and Pony Clubbers would be welcomed. Contact me FMI.

Inspection and Show Results
Hi Mo,
I just wanted to send you some new pictures of the Ghouda man. He has not grown much coat now that it is getting cold, so he has his own bran new rain sheet, medium blanket and heavy winter blanket. He is wearing his sheet in the pictures, and I thought you would like to see him in it. Also I wanted you to see how much he plays with the other horses now, they where all running around last night right before bring them in, and he is the one that starts it. It is so funny to see him come over the hill before the others. Hope all is well with you.
