By Gold Luck out of Elation (Equuleus-Grundspecht). Chestnut, blaze, 4 stockings. Dam Elation has produced a filly by Gold Luck that was given an "8" for gaits and overall impression at her inspection by Ludwig Christman of the German Hanoverian Verband. Another of her fillies by Gold Luck was named one of the top three foals at the Pennsylvania AHS inspection. Elation has also produced a mare that was an overall "8" at her mare inspection. She herself was an event horse.
Equuleus was one of the first Hanoverian stallions to be imported to the US. He was trained to GP dressage and was long-listed for the US fledgling dressage team in the late 50's.
Definitely his father's son, Clark is quite handsome, has wonderful conformation, an uphill build and excellent movement with that "look at me" attitude. A stallion prospect, he was prepared for presentation at the AHS Stallion Licensing, but unfortunately became technically ineligible due to an untraceable Westphalian mare in the sixth generation of his pedigree on his dam's side (AHS stallions require a complete six generation pedigree for approval). Now gelded, he should excel as a dressage horse and has also shown himself to be an EXCELLENT jumper - free jumping five feet and loving it. He is a powerful mover with very good hock activity and uphill trot and canter. He also tries very hard to please. I think he will make a top FEI prospect. Collection and sit are a natural for him. He is presently in training and has been a star under saddle and at his first show. One of the coolest horses on the farm.
SOLD! Congratulations to Steve Ruggiero and Tracy Kettunen on their second purchase of a Gold Luck offspring!
