Whest Indies was sold to a very excited Julie, who had a nasty lesson in horse ownership within one month of wonership. Indie developed a foot abcsess in both hind feet that apparently spread to the deep digital flexor tendon. She had to be humanely destroyed. Poor Indie....

Her sire, Wolkentanz II was a highly placed finalist in the 1998 German Championships. He was runner up in his stallion performance test, winning the rideability portion with a score of 143.94. He won the International Dressage Festival in Lingen with a score of 9.6 and was a finalist in the six year old dressage horse category in Warendorf in 2001. He is trained and competes so far up to PSG level. Whest Indies dam is Rhococo.

Indy was rather immature and long looking over the loin at her inspection in 2004. She received a score of 6.66, mostly all relating to this issue over the loin. She did the mare performance test as a green broke three year old at the same time. She got a score of 6.94 with an 8 for rideability. Jumping was not her forte. She has been an excellent producer.

SOLD! Congratulations and condolences to Julie Lawrence of MD

Inspection and Show Results

Lhincoln
2006 Hanoverian Gelding
sire
 Londonderry
dam
 Whest Indies (Wolkentanz II-Rhococo/Renaissance)
See the new conformation photo taken 9/06. He just keeps getting prettier and prettier and he can really move. Lhincoln resembles his father, Londonderry in his type and his movement. He is uphill and elastic with just enough knee to allow for upper level dressage movements like passage and piaffe. His looks and elasticity may appeal to hunter riders, too. Plus, he is really sweet and quiet in his character.
SOLD! congratulations to Ashley Burd!

Ghardener
2005 Hanoverian Gelding
sire
 Gold Luck
dam
 Whest Indies (Wolkentanz)
After waiting a week with no turn out to preserve her occasionally dripping milk, after tripping the birth alarm countless times in the middle of the night by laying down to sleep, and after we were fairly convinced she was NEVER going to have it, Indy popped out a colt this morning without tripping off the alarm. She probably had it standing up. My guess is she had it around 2 am. Jim and I were outside breeding a mare with frozen semen from midnight to 1am, and when we went bed, she was calmly looking at us, eating hay. He seems healthy, despite his covert birth. He is tall, chestnut, star and snip and three white legs. We have named him Ghardener.
SOLD! Congrats to Sharon Lewis of Willoughby, OH!
