April 2013: Ghiorgio was gelded in the spring of his 2 year old year. He just didn't have enough stallion qualities to keep entire. He will make a super riding horse! Ghiorgio just sparkles- he has tremendous prescence and can move like the Gold Luck offspring can- engaged behind, uphill and free in the shoulder. Gotta love the old man! Foal report: Alectra knows how to treat us right. She did all the right things, which includes waxing up with no dripping of milk for a day, and foaling at the civilized hour of 10:30 pm. Plus Ghiorgio was a genius. He stood right up, pooped and found the milk bar within an hour of birth. This is a real beautiful colt and we are so happy he is our second Gold Luck colt for the year.
