A Premium Colt, now gelded and under saddle

Since Ghucci was the first foal born in 2011, he was getting a little, um, shall we say, GEEKY by the time of the GOV inspection. He impressed the judges with uphill movement despite his awkward butt high conformation. He is very elastic, with really big gaits.

Foaling report: The first foal of the season is born when there is still a little snow on the ground. This colt fulfills my wish to have a colt from Whispre that will be a possible Gold Luck replacement as a stallion. We shall see, but so far, we are really happy with him. He can really move!

SOLD! Congrats to Alexandra of MD!

Ghucci was raised as a stallion prospect and although he impressed the German judges with his very good jumping talent and good movement, they turned him down because he really isn't bred to be a jumper- with dressage breeding on his dam's side. He was gelded as a 4 year old, and then we took some time for him to completely recover from a kick injury. He is now back under saddle and doing super. He will make a very good dressage prospect but since he has a very good talent in the free jumping chute (we free jumped him as high as 5' and he looked super), we think he'd make an amazing jumper or event prospect. Neither sport is our thing, so perhaps take a chance, school him over fences and sell him for big bucks. He certainly has a big ring look with his beautiful conformation and presence.
