Another Miss Personality like full sister, EMC Ghamma Ray!

See the new conformation photo taken 9/06. Ghidgette is a fovorite of everyone at RSF. She leaves food to visit you out in the field. She is correct, pretty and a super mover. I will be surprised if she hasn't inherited some jumping talent.

Foaling report: Well, I should never go off the farm to shop for gifts. Last year, Rheporter was born while I was shopping for my son's graduation gift. This year I went off the farm for just an hour or two to get Jim a birthday gift, and my pager for the birth alarm rang just as I was picking out the gift. I rushed home to find that Tiffany has perfected her midwife skills. It's a filly! The theme for this year is an easy one for me (I need all the easy things in a year with 25 foals coming!) I have decided to just use people names. This one is named Ghidgette at Tiffany's suggestion and it fits her just fine. She is bay with a star and a snip high on her nose and two hind socks. She looked a little like a surfer girl when she was on her legs for the first time. She is very correct with a beautiful laid back shoulder.

We turned Ghidgette out in the indoor today (at 4 days old) and she jumped over a 2' high rail that was set up not once, but three times!! She was just following mom, but it didn't faze her a bit. Good form! Just like her big sisters Ghamma Ray (2005 AHS Benchmark Jumping Award co-winner) and Ghenoa. Quite a trio of jumping girls this combination has produced!

SOLD! Congratulations to Michelle Coursin!

7/27/08 Just thought you'd like to see a recent photo of her. In this picture she's 2 years 6 weeks old...this was taken back on April 29. Keep in mind, I'm 5'6''. She's grown since this picture! Sincerely, Kristen 6/2008 Hey! My name is Kristen Millington, you don't know me yet but I currently own the horse you bred named Gigi! I noticed that Michelle had mentioned me on your site, so I decided to get in contact with you in case you were interested in knowing about her! She's doing great! I have started round pen work with her and she'd really catching on, she's a very smart little mare! The very first time I put a saddle on her back and girthed it up, she did not even flinch! I have started calling her a different name, but have kept her registered as Ghidgette. Her new name is Rheannin...Rhea (pronounced Ray-ah) for short. I just wanted to let you know that you definitely know how to breed them! She is the most gorgeous mover (everyone's jaws drop when they first see her trot!) and such an athletic horse! She has this bad habit that I hope she'll grow out of, but it really portrays how talented she is! She gets very jealous when I pay attention to my other horse, and to show her disapproval she puts her foot up in her feed bin! This is amazing because her feed bin is between 3 and 4 feet from the ground, and she does it like it's nothing to her! My friend told me I should teach her the Spanish walk because of it! She has talent beyond any horse I could have ever dreamed of owning! I had originally purchased her due to her jumping ability, I have always had a dream of taking a horse to the Grand Prix jumper level...and I feel she may have the talent for it! I hadn't looked at her originally because I thought she was a dressage horse, but then a friend of mine told me about the time she jumped out of her paddock. She told me how before she was even a year old yet that all of the horses were running around and headed straight toward the gate...all of them slammed to a halt except for Gigi! My friend said she went sailing on over (with a foot to spare) in absolutely perfect form with the greatest of ease! She landed on the other side, trotted back and forth a couple times trying to figure out what happened and how to get back with the other horses, then just stopped and started grazing. The jump did not even phase her, and the fact that she was loose and separate from the others was not of any concern to her!! I measured the gate afterward and it was 4'6'', so she had jumped about 5'6'' when she was still just a weanling! I just can not say enough about how wonderful of a mare she is! I am planning to take her to her 3 year old inspection at the beginning of next year. Like I said, I purchased her with intentions of turning her into a jumper...but her movement just screams dressage so I can't ignore that! I plan to teach her both jumpers as well as dressage, I'm sure she will excel in both! I'm sorry for such a long email, it's just that whenever I start talking about this mare I can't seem to stop! If you're at all interested I could get you a few pictures of her...that way you can see how lovely she's become as well as how big she's getting! I believe she's about 16.2 or 16.3 already, and only about 2 years and 4 months old! She's gonna be huge! Sincerely, Kristen

7/30/07 Hey Mo, How is everything?? Ghidgette aka Gigi is doing great. I actually sold her to a person who is going to use her in dressage. She got HUGE, definitely going to be bigger than her full sisters!!! She was the best baby in the barn by far. I would've kept her but I got a good offer. I was looking at your new foals this year and I have to say Lhemon Pie is soooo pretty!! Have you sold her already, if not how much are you asking? I also like Gigi's half brother, what a pretty color. Welcome S can sure produce some nice looking foals. Talk to you later, Michelle Coursin Hi Mo, hope everything is going well. I was wondering when Ghidgette is going to get weaned. And another update, the girl is still going to buy Ghidgette, I think it's best for her, cause at this point she can offer the filly more than I can in show career wise. But she is anxious to pick her up and would like to know when she can do that. I'm sure the day you say she is ready is the day she will be at your farm for her. Anyways, I'll let you go, and I hope to hear from you soon. Michelle Hey Mo, hope everything is going well on your end. Unfortunately we have had a bit of a family crisis here, and I am forced to sell my horses, and that includes Ghidgette. I hate to write this cause she is my dream, but my family really needs the money right now. If you have anyone that might be interested in her, please let me know. I just want to get back the money I paid for her, and her insurance will transfer to whoever buys her. Of course I want only a great home for my girl. This is so unexpectant, I already bought a magnet that says I love my Hanoverian Warmblood Ghidgette. I have to go for now, Michelle
