We were so pleased to receive this photo of the Gold Luck son, Gladstone. He is one of the very few grey offspring we know about, and certainly quite handsome!

 

Very pretty and talented 4 yo Hanoverian mare by the popular stallion Gold Luck. This cute mare is very athletic, a fast learner and surprisingly steady for being so young. She's quiet enough for an amateur rider and a joy to ride. She's great on trail rides and confidently goes over a variety of terrain....streams, ravines, river banks, mud, through brush etc.

The birth of Thempera makes Ghodiva a Special Premium mare.
Ghodive had only been cantering under saddle for about 3 weeks and had only gone through the free jump chute 3 times. Her green-ness showed in the free jump chute where she mad a few mistakes after initially impressing the judges with her form and scope. They said had she not made mistakes, they could have awarded her a 9. As it is, she received 8's for the jumping, canter under saddle, and rideability from the test rider. She received a 9 (!) for the trot under saddle and 8.5's for free trot and canter. Total score- 7.99! Not bad for a green broke 3 year old! She was named the overall champion, and was high score in free jumping and under saddle. The judges awarded her the title of Special Premium Candidate. She needs to have a foal to get the full title. She was eventually named the high score Oldenburg mare for the nation for 2011!
