What a busy day it was! We had our GOV Mare Performance Test and Mare inspection on October 31, 2018- Halloween! We presented five 3 year old mares with super results. Fhunny Girl (Fuerstenball/EM Regalia PWF- Royal Prince/Grundstein I) and Showboat (Shakespeare RSF/ EM Dhewpoint-Dicaprio/Monty) were named Special Premium. Fhunny Girl was the overall high score with a 7.71. Fhair Lady (Fiderbach/ Special Premium Shawnee- Shakespeare RSF/Weltbekannt), Shweet Charity (Sir James/ EM Whallis Blue- Wallstreet Kid/Armin), and Whest Side Story (Wolkenta
nz I/ Bhon-Bon- Brentano II/Archipel), now owned by Emily Scott, were all named Verband Premium. A 4 yo mare I bred and sold as a yearling was also named Verband Premium- Shading (Shakespeare RSF/ EM Wyneth L- Widmark/ Davignon), ridden by her owner Paula Oliver. Paula's daughter, Evi, rode her own RSF bred Dhuplicity and she should be very proud of herself!
We also presented 2 July foals, (Thunderbird and Dhiesel) both receiving Premium Foal for their new owners. Thanks to our GOV judges, Sebastian Rohde and Uli Henscke. A very special thank you to Cara Klothe for the excellent riding and trotting in hand, Dawn Coffey and
Carlee Hunsicker for the all round help, Ulla Parker for the guest test riding, Dennis Moore for videotaping, Amy Dragoo for photographing and my husband Jim, who is my best friend and all round good guy. Phew! We are glad it is over!
